Just wanted to wish everyone a safe, happy, and relaxing holiday season. Religious or not, enjoy yourselves and the time with your family and friends.

These times don't last forever unfortunately, so embrace them as much as possible.

Much love and God bless.

Yes i'm still alive.

And here to announce what a great year its been for metal and gaming.
I recently heard Cradle of Filth's new album "Godspeed on the Devil's Thunder." Absolute masterpiece, alot more gothic and orchestral, which i love!

As for gaming, where to start? Recently new Castlevania and Warcraft expansion. Awesome shit!

I've been going on the audio portal alot lately and listening to metal and techno remixes ppl make for the Zelda and Castlevania series, so much amazing work out there. Kudos to you all.

I only dreamed about a game like Super Smash Brothers coming out when I got my Nintendo 64, all those years ago, thinking, 'how sick would it be to have a fighting game with all my favorite Nintendo characters'. The day I saw a commercial for it I was jumping off the freakin walls, definately a game to own for a Nintendo maniac like myself.

Melee only further impressed us Nintendo-heads with pumped up graphics, a ton of new and cool levels and characters to play from, and different modes to play as well.

The day Brawl came out, I was scheduled to work, I thought to myself, 'shit it's gonna be sold out'. Then as if I was being possessed I hopped onto a terminal and went to Bestbuy.com. I ordered the game for an in-store pickup and ran over to get it on my break. Needless to say, the rest of my shift was slowly completed in my piss-wet boxers. I got home and played it and after watching the first 10 seconds of the introduction movie I told myself, 'this is gonna be sweet.' For the first day of owning it my brothers and I did Brawl matches all night, blown out of our minds at the new graphics, levels, music collection and more. The next day I started the Subspace Emissary. Ironically, the day before I thought to myself 'wouldn't it be cool for Nintendo to release an adventure-style game with Nintendo's signature characters and their worlds', well my dreams came to life shortly after. Subspace Emissary is an amazing addition to the Smash Brothers series, a full-scale adventure experienced with Nintendo's favorite heroes. A lengthy play-time, exciting stages and battles (especially the boss fights) and just the concept of some of your favorite Nintendo characters meeting and forming an alliance to defeat their adversaries is just phenominal. And that's not all! Demos of several original NES games, a wide music selection, tons of new characters including non-Nintendo franchises like Metal Gear Solid's Snake and Sonic the Hedgehog, online multiplayer action, training modes (and yes the punching bag game is back and better than ever) and the ability to make your own levels easily makes Brawl one of the best Nintendo titles ever and definately one of the Wii's top hits. Would recommend to anyone. Nintendo fan or not, play this game.

PROS:
-Classic Smash Brothers action is back and better than ever
-Incredible single player adventure in the Subspace Emissary with stunning cinematics
-Online connectivity to play against friends or send them screenshots that you can take at virtually any point in the game
-A ton of new characters, levels, music, and items to enjoy throughout your brawl matches
-Ability to create your own levels
-Wii Remote/Nunchuck, Wii Classic controller, and Gamecube controller compatible

CONS:
-Though rare, certain areas of the Subspace Emissary get repetitive

OVERALL SCORE:
-9.8/10
